Everyone Loves Jitters

By Mullanaphy! at 2007-10-13 | Drama, Horror, Suspense | Printable version

"They're everywhere!"

Mor was right, they were everywhere.  If this story had started any sooner we probably would've heard him first cry "Mother of God, damn these vampires..." But we didn't so he might not have actually said that.

"What should we do sir?" surprisingly calm question coming from Jitters.  "We're down to three stakes and the sun is setting fast."

"Damn these mothers."

Looking around Kevin could only muster up "I say we hightail it back to the covenant and we finish this huge ordeal tomorrow.  I mean how were we supposed to know there were so many."

"Damn these mothers."

"Shut up Kev, and Mor is that all you can say anymore?  Lets each grab a stake and take out one vampire each, than we can hightail it back to the covenant," Jitters still in control of his marbles.  With that uplifting speech he tossed each of his comrades a stake.

"Screw you Jitters, I'm off."

"Damn these mothers."

Still keeping his cool, "Listen Kev, I need you, the covenant needs you, everyone that wishes to be free of vampires needs you.  So just take out one and be done.  As for you Mor, shove it.  That take this stake and shove it into that guy."

"No you listen Jitters." Beads of sweat started forming on Kevin's forehead.  "These are vampires, the kind that love draining human's of their tasty, tasty blood.  Its almost dark out, we're tasty, tasty humans.  This is not the situation we should be in."

"Damn these mothers."

Starting to live up to his nickname, Jitters could only reply, "well if that's the case and you're too scared than give me your stake.  You too Mor as you're too shocked to help."

"Damn these mothers."

"Fine then, here you go.  Here's Mor's too."  Handing over the stakes Kevin was ready to jet.  As he prepared Mor to do like wise he gave his friend Jitters his last words.  "Good lu..."

Kevin would've finished his "Good luck" line if it wasn't for the stake that went through his throat.  Same with Mor and his now infamous last words.

"Damn these moth..."

Just like that our ‘would be' hero just snapped.  Little did he know those actions actually saved  his life.  For the vampires were now quite awake and quite pleased with the breakfast in bed.

See, vampires usually aren't served freshly prepared breakfast.  Today though was quite a special day indeed.  Special and surprising thanks to the vampires new beloved Jitters.

"You have done well human, what is your worldly name?"

"Mike, but most just call me Jitters."

"So be it Jitters and let it be known from this day forward that Jitters is forever a friend of the vampires.  Thank you for this feast, now let us consume."

And so the story of Jitters went into history, or at least this is the story that made it into Mike "Jitters" Zalenski's police report.  The report they filed after finding him with two half consumed locals that were reported missing the previous day.
